As a stockbroker you’ll be expected to:

  • Monitor client's investments
  • Find new business for the organization and open new client accounts.
  • You will also be marketing services through sale calls.
  • You will be working as part of a team alongside Investment Analysts, who carry out research into how companies are doing.
  • You will also be undertaking many of the day to day tasks which include phone calls, letters and paper work, research, attending meetings, general account handling and other duties.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will be:-

  • Preferably FSA registered (not a pre-requisite). Minimum qualification - should have passed Unit 1 and Unit 2.
  • Exceptional sales people with a proven track record need only apply.
  • Previous experience in a Financial Advisory role would be beneficial though not essential.
  • The role would suit an enthusiastic, highly motivated and self driven individual.

Account Openers and Lead Generators

Job Description

What you will do in the job:

Your primary responsibility will be to:
- Generate, grow and maintain a sales channel of new customers of all sizes and profiles across multiple sectors through the primary activity of cold calling and also networking in a way which successfully represents William Albert and leads to more business opportunities;
In order to achieve this, you will have to:
- Work with other members of the Sales team who will progress the sales leads which you will be generating
- Work with the Marketing team, who will support you by making the company look better to customers;
- Interact with other staff and support them in their roles
Your day to day work will consist of:
- Developing new leads for the company in an organised, timely and professional manner;

Job Requirements

We are looking for:-

Experience:
- You must have a minimum of two years experience in cold calling with a substantial and successful proven track record of achieving and delivering sales targets;
- You must have commercial awareness and have done B2B sales before.
Prior product selling experience:
- If you have sold technology-based products or services in the past, then this is a plus;
- If you have sold products that required customer ‘education’, for example products that were highly differentiated or entirely new type products (as opposed to selling products that required little customer education, for example products that were just better or cheaper) then this is also a plus.
Your values:

Your role as a Client Services Coordinator:

  • Answering customer's queries makes up a large part of your role, keeping you in regular contact with them either face to face, or over the phone or via email. It's also your responsibility to keep up to date with all products, services and procedures.
  • Ensuring client services are delivered in a timely manner, liasing with both clients and staff to ensure effective communication

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen to join our team of brokers. We are currently recruiting ambitious Stockbrokers - Alternative Investments, to work in our Bedford based office. The job entails an excellent scope for the right individual for career development and structured progression within a fast growing and exciting financial sector.

We focus on alternative investments, in particular the energies and commodities markets. The job entails an individual to make calls throughout the day to potential investors, gauging interest in our products and services. Once qualifying the lead, it will be passed on to an experienced closer to finalize the deal, in which you will earn commission from.

  • Great interpersonal skills; Excellent telephone manner essential
  • A minimum of 6 months previous sales experience (retail does not count)
  • Confident, driven and proactive
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High levels of self-motivation and excellent time-management skills.
